Description
The Centre for Applied Linguistics and Multilingualism (CALM) aims to promote research in the area of applied linguistics and multilingualism as well as to increase the awareness of issues related to language learning, language processing and multilingualism within NUI Galway and the wider community.
CALM is located in the Moore Institute for Research in the Humanities and Social Studies and is affiliated with the School of Languages, Literatures and Cultures (College of Arts, Social Sciences and Celtic Studies) and the Discipline of Speech and Language Therapy in the School of Health Sciences (College of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences). It is also linked to the new MSc in Applied Multilingualism.
