About:

Dr Thomas Leahy is a senior lecturer in British/Irish politics and contemporary history at Cardiff University in Wales. His first book on ‘The intelligence war against the IRA’ was published with Cambridge University Press. It was awarded the Political Studies of Ireland Brian Farrell book prize 2021 and was also shortlisted for the Royal Historical Society’s Whitfield prize 2021. He is currently working on the Irish Government and Northern Ireland conflict legacy and recently published a new article with Eleanor Leah Williams on informers and conflict legacy.
