Dr. Pádraig Lenihan of the History Department will give a lecture on the experience of writing his most recent book, Fluxes, Fevers and Fighting Men: War and Disease in Ancien Regime Europe, 1648-1789. An expert in military and medical history, Dr. Lenihan is the author of four other books, including The Last Cavalier Richard Talbot (2014) and Consolidating Conquest: Ireland 1603-1730 (2007).
