Invitation: Launch of an Archives Search system.

I’m writing to invite you to a short session on Wednesday related to the university’s archives and a new system for searching them which has been developed. The event takes place at 5.15 in Special Collections and will take around 20 minutes – with brief intros and demos. Refreshments will be served after!

The archives constitute crucial resources for a great deal of the work that goes on in the Institute. The new search system (CalmView) enables cross searching of holdings in a way that will seriously increase access to linked information. Being there would be a great way to show support and find out how to make even more of what we have.
