This symposium is organised by network members Dr. Stanislava Antonijevic and Dr. Cassie Smith-Christmas.

The day will feature a number of talks related to multilingualism in Ireland, with a special focus on children’s multilingual development and language use in the school and the home.

This will be followed by the launch of the Centre for Applied Linguistics and Multilingualism (CALM), with Professor Helen Grech’s talk at 17.00 to mark the launch.
