Laura Serra is a PhD student at the at the Human Rights Institute “Bartolom̩ de las Casas” at Charles III University of Madrid and is a recipient of a scholarship from the Government of Spain. She has a degree in Law from the National University of Mar del Plata, Argentina. Ms. Serra has a background in Human Rights research in Argentina and Spain. She has also worked as a lawyer at the Department for the Promotion of Equality and Prevention of Discrimination, Mar del Plata, Argentina. Currently she is a visting researcher at the Centre for Disability Law and Policy, NUI Galway.
