With guest speakers
Dorothea Melvin – pioneer in the Irish movement for access to contraception and the establishment of the Galway Family Planning Association in the 1970s
and
Lakshmi Lingam – Professor, School of Social Sciences and Deputy Director of Tata Institute of Social Sciences at Hyderabad, who recently completed a National Review of Maternity Protection Policies and Programmes, commissioned by the International Labour Organisation.
