Dr Emilie Pine lectures in modern drama in the School of English, Drama and Film at UCD. Emilie has published widely in the fields of memory studies, Irish studies and contemporary drama, and is the author of The Politics of Irish Memory: Performing Remembrance in Contemporary Irish Culture (Palgrave), Assistant Editor of the Irish University Review, and founding Director of the Irish Memory Studies Network. Emilie is currently writing a book on memory as a commodity in the performance marketplace
