Panellists in this webinar will examine the ways in which Galway has been represented historically in art and literature, and discuss the development of theatre and traditional music in the city since the 1960s. The discussion will be interspersed with live musical performances.

- Gerard Hanberry, poet, musician, and creative writing tutor at NUI Galway
- Anne Hodge, Curator of Prints and Drawings, National Gallery of Ireland
- Professor Lionel Pilkington, School of English and Creative Arts, NUI Galway
Each panellist is a key contributor to a forthcoming book, Hardiman and After: the Arts and Culture in Galway, which is edited by John Cunningham and Ciaran McDonough.
The discussion will be moderated by John Cunningham, Director of MA History, and Moore Institute.
