Future Landscapes a mixed Reality showcase

The exhibition is the result of the 4 week intensive Future Landscapes workshop created in conjunction with the School of Machines, Making and Make-Believe and Galway 2020.

The aim of the workshop was to allow participants to develop the skills to explore the use of immersive technologies, such as Virtual and Augmented Reality, within the context of Landscape, both seen and unseen. This can include, for example, the augmentation of physical landscapes, and creating immersive experiences related to social and political landscapes.

This capacity-building project is part-funded through a Higher Education Authority (HEA) project on Digital Literacy in Irish Humanities, and through Galway 2020’s Digital Programme.
