Joseph Twist (Galway/Limerick) – Joseph is interested in the intersection of philosophy, religion and literature. His current research focuses on the interaction between mystical and postmodern thought in the work of Zafer Şenocak, SAID, Feridun Zaimoglu and Navid Kermani (all contemporary German authors of varying Muslim backgrounds). He is particularly interested in the non-identitarian spirituality of their fiction and its transnational contexts.
