January 2017 Visiting Fellows

Dr Peadar Ó Muircheartaigh ( Aberystwyth University, Wales) will be with us until 21st January working on his project ‘ Agallamh na Scoláiri ( The Discourse of the Scholars): Charles O’Connor, James McLagan and negotiating the Gaelic past in an eighteenth century present’ in collaboration with Dr Lesa Ní Mhungaile. Dr Rosemary Power (Independent Scholar) will be with us until 2nd February working on her project ‘ Brjansbardagi – The Battle of Clontarf in Old Norse Sources – Independent tradition or textual transmission’ in collaboration with Prof Máirín Ní Dhonnchadha.
