As part of the ongoing collaboration with the UniversitÌÊ degli Studi del Piemonte Orientale, The Columbanus Life and Legacy Project is delighted to announce details of two guest lectures to be held this coming Friday from 10 a.m. in the Moore Institute Seminar Room. Dott.ssa Roberta Conversi is head of the Archaeology Division of the Soprintendenza per i Beni Archeologici dell’Emilia Romagna, based in the Museum of Parma. Over the past few years she has overseen excavation on a number of early medieval sites in the Val di Trebbia, the results of which have the potential to greatly alter our perception of the landscape setting in which the Monastery of Bobbio was founded by Saint Columbanus.
