‘Daniel Carey will give a talk on ‘A Scrupulous Travesty? Spivak’s Kant’ in the Moore Institute Seminar Room on Tuesday, 9th February at 4:00pm. This will be followed at 5pm by the launch of his new book by Lionel Pilkington, head of the School of Humanities. The Postcolonial Enlightenment: Eighteenth-century Colonialism and Postcolonial Theory is edited by Daniel Carey and Lynn Festa, and is published by Oxford University Press. All are welcome.
