DESCRIPTION:Who is Odysseus Anyway?  \nPublic talk and activity session for children ages 8–12 (ish) \nSat\, 18 February 2023\, 10:30 – 11:30 am at Galway City Museum \n  \nDr Pádraic Moran\, lecturer in Ancient Classics at the University of Galway\, will introduce the character of Odysseus\, an unconventional hero of Ancient Greek myth. With Pádraic\, participants will hear about some of Odysseus’s great adventures and think about what it means to be a hero. \nAfter this\, participants will have the chance to write using the same tools used in the ancient world (wax tablets and styluses\, papyrus and reed pens).
