DESCRIPTION:British Embassy Glencairn Conversations\, in partnership with the Royal Irish Academy. \n\n\nAmbassador Paul Johnston and RIA President Mary Canning invite you to hear UK and Irish perspectives on applying the lessons from Covid 19 to strengthen our preparedness for future pandemics on 5 July 2021. \nG7 leaders\, meeting in Cornwall\, committed to strengthening our collective defences against future pandemics – including investing in innovation with the aim of making safe and effective vaccines\, therapeutics and diagnostics available within 100 days of an international public health emergency being declared. \nUK and Irish scientists have been at the centre of our national and global responses to Covid-19.
