DESCRIPTION:‘Arts in Action’ and the James Hardiman Library\, present a special lunchtime event from the archives of the Lyric Theatre\, Belfast. Acclaimed television and film actor Stella McCusker will read a selection of stories and poems from Threshold literary journal\, published by the Lyric Theatre\, Belfast. Edited by the likes of Mary O’Malley\, John Montague\, Brian Friel and Seamus Heaney\, Threshold was first published in 1957 and was an important literary journal for over three decades. The event will also feature music with Special Guest: Uilleann Piper\, Padraig Keane. \nOctober 18th\, Bank of Ireland Theatre\, NUI Galway\, 1 – 2pm. \n \n  \n
