DESCRIPTION:Drama Theatre and Performance speaker series:\nAnne Clarke (Landmark Productions)\, “Producing and/as Innovation”\nLandmark Productions is one of Ireland’s leading theatre producers. Established by Anne Clarke ten years ago\, the company produces wide-ranging and ambitious work in Ireland and tours Irish work abroad. \nIn the past decade\, the company has produced eighteen plays\, including six Irish premieres and seven world premieres in Dublin including Enda Walsh’s Ballyturk\, and its work has been seen in London\, Edinburgh and New York. \nThey include the Irish premieres of David Hare’s Skylight\, Edward Albee’s The Goat\, or Who is Sylvia?\, Glen Berger’s Underneath the Lintel\, David Harrower’s Knives in Hens and his Olivier Award-winning play Blackbird. \nWorld premieres include Fiona Looney’s Dandelions\, October and Greener\, and Paul Howard’s The Last Days of the Celtic Tiger and Between Foxrock and a Hard Place. \nFor more information please contact charlotte.mcivor@nuigalway.ie
