SUMMARY:Reading: Maria Elsner\, Essen University\, will read\, in German\, from MÌÁn'arÌ_la-Trilogy
DESCRIPTION:Discipline of German\, NUIG \nMaria Elsner\, \nwill read\, in German\, from MÌÁn’arÌ_la-Trilogy \nMaria Elsner started to write her first novel Das BÌ_ndnis von MÌÁn’rÌ_la – Die Sprache des Feuers (“The Alliance of MÌÁn’rÌ_la – The Language of Fire”) when she was 12. After three years of work the book was published and in 2015 the second volume of the MÌÁn’arÌ_la-Trilogy will be released. \nThe book is an adventurous Fantasy-Novel about what friendship\, love and loyalty can set against the everlasting war between good and evil\, fire and ice. It tells about an alliance of the nine planets of our solar system and their desperate attempt to protect our lives from the coming of an abysmal nothingness\, a dark hole full of gloom and death. Nine children were chosen to lead this alliance with fortitude\, among them Kara\, an unsuspecting girl of our planet\, the Earth\, who never saw herself being involved into a war. It therefore is a story about the power of hope and the eternal desire of every living entity for freedom. \nBut the vastness of the universe is coming … \nMaria studies Music and English at Essen University. At the moment she is on an internship in German at NUI Galway. \nFor more information please contact geraldine.smyth@nuigalway.ie
