DESCRIPTION:WORKSHOP ON COMMUNICATING RESEARCH USING VIDEO \nWith Eileen Lauster \nMoore Institute \nTuesday 6 May 2014\, 12-1pm \nThe Moore Institute and the Digital Scholarship Seminar will host a \nworkshop exploring strategies for disseminating research activity using \nvideo content. The workshop will be lead by Eileen Lauster\, Research \nAssistant at the Responding to Child to Parent Violence project \n(www.rcpv.eu) in the School of Political Science and Sociology and an \nexperienced film-maker and editor (www.busterdrive.com). \nThe workshop will introduce how to create video content with graphical\, \nstill image\, audio and live action material\, and how to edit this \nmaterial using YouTube’s built-in tools. It will include both practical \ntips and broader communication strategies. \nPlaces are limited\, and those interested in participating should e-mail \neileen.lauster@nuigalway.ie.
